When meeting with Jodie and Nick, it became apparent that they wanted their wedding video to have an extra touch of the unique. They showed me a music video that they loved and asked what kind of camera was being used. Immediately, I recognized the super 8mm quality and we decided that we would mix a combination of modern digital footage with that of actual super 8mm film! There are no processing labs for motion film here in Winnipeg, so the exposed film had to be sent off to Toronto to get a professional process and digital transfer of the film. I feel like the super 8mm film brings with it, a wonderful and timeless aesthetic, especially with the beautiful landscapes and such around the Lac Du Bonnet area. Congratulations to Jodie and Nick!
