Sparks are flying in this one, both literally and figuratively! Ryan and Nicole have such a wonderful and natural chemistry together. Seemingly, almost everything we did was pretty much a “money shot”. I felt like I was working with seasoned professional models! Who knows maybe they are? I wouldn’t doubt it!

One thing I love about my role as a wedding cinematographer is the ability to craft a film based on the unique personalities and circumstances of my couples. Ryan and Nicole were a super fun couple that’s reflected in the tone of the film. They also have a beautiful young son, Liam, that was a big part of the day! I nearly fell out of my editing seat when I first watched Nicole and Liam come around the corner of the centre aisle during the ceremony procession to see Ryan (and Dad) waiting for them at the end of the aisle! The reactions on both their faces is absolutely priceless!

At the reception, Nicole surprised her hubby for their first dance by having everyone light sparklers and was it ever a sight to see! I remember getting goosebumps during it. It was a truly amazing touch by Nicole and something super special to be in the presence of that I’ve never really seen done before in my 7 years of filming weddings.

Congratulations to Ryan and Nicole (and Liam)! I hope this film allows them to relive the abundance of beautiful moments that were captured on their wedding day!
