The most satisfying part of my “job” is being able to create story from the footage we film with our couples on one of the most important days in their lives. Moreover, I’m often intrigued by how my couples came to be, to reach this point in their lives. Everybody has a story and I was incredibly moved by Kristina’s maid of honour’s speech that leads off the film describing the strength, dedication, and resilience of Kristina as a young, single mother before Ryan had entered her life: qualities I think carry over into their relationship.

For me, that speech really grounds the film as a whole, even among the splendour and beauty of everything from the rustic, elegant, and intimate venue at recently opened Cielo’s Garden to the dress, flowers and beyond. What a perfect location! Tammy Oulette and her team at Divine Weddings did an amazing job planning the entire day and they were a real pleasure to work alongside as well as Josh of Josh Dookhie Photography. True professionals to say the least.
