“When she’s gone, nothing feels right.”

Charissa and Leonard wanted to do things a little differently with their Same-Day Edit… Having experience with delivering SDEs over the years, we understood that these films are generally best received when they’re fun and light-hearted. Ultimately, we decided to mix in some pre-wedding interviews that covered topics ranging from quirky details about their partner, but also discussing how they think they’d react to certain situations on their wedding day, like what kind of reaction we could expect from Leonard during those initial moments of seeing Charissa walking down the aisle in her beautiful wedding dress!!! We also had the opportunity to tag along with Nghia Tran Photography for the engagement shoot to grab some additional footage to integrate into the hybrid SDE film. Through the interviews and footage we captured during the both the engagement shoot and on the wedding day, I think we get an incredible perspective about these two, their relationship, and what they value in life: two easy-going individuals who value family and as Leonard alludes to in his interview, just doesn’t feel quite right without the presence of the other. Congratulations Charissa and Leonard for taking that next step and allowing us to share in and be a part of your big day!!
