Melanie and Joel were married on a steamy summer July afternoon in front of their family and friends. What made their wedding ceremony so unique was the fact that the marriage was performed by none other than Joel’s father himself, Pastor Brad Schollenberg.

Melanie and Joel’s highlights harken back to a previous style of mine, a style that Melanie says she fell in love with when deciding to go with a wedding videographer for her wedding day, that gave emphasis to the song itself. After witnessing the words spoken from Pastor Brad (at both the ceremony and reception) along with the tales of love and the storied bumps in the road, which only further emphasize a love built on a strong foundation of trust, commitment, and endurance. It was for this reason that the song I decided upon was one I think represents Melanie and Joel’s journey to this day and one that I hope the couple and their family will be able to look back upon with fondness and joy for years to come.
