Sandra and Chad’s wedding day was one inspired by a trip to Paris together the previous summer. It’s always a treat to film such a unique wedding. After all, Parisian-inspired weddings don’t happen all that often here in the Prairies!

In speaking with them about what they wanted from their wedding film, it was important that we achieve a result that was personal, soft, and timeless. The super 8mm film was an easy creative choice to integrate, since it immediately possesses a visual aesthetic that has both a classic look and timeless feel to it.

Lending to this overall ‘classic’ tone were their chosen venues, including the Trappist Monastery ruins along with the Fort Garry Hotel. Coordinated by Amanda Douglas Events and photographed by Bond Freyer and his team at BLF Studios (link with photos below), it was a real pleasure to work with such a great group of vendors!
